We go to Bray quite often and normally stay elsewhere. This time, however,we got a great deal at the Ramada and decided to have a change.I was so glad we did.
We booked a family room for 2 nights. The room was huge!! There was a double bed.2 singles and we had a baby cot too. There was a "sitting room" area beside the floor to ceiling windows with a sofa.Even with all this, the room was still very spacious, with plenty of room for our pram and (if required)another pull out bed.The decor was modern and spotlessly clean.Free WiFi was available. There was a DVD player and a childrens selection of DVD`s on the corridor on the 2nd floor.Tea & coffee facilites were in the room and our coffee, tea and sugar supply topped up each day.The bathroom was clean, bright and spacious with a very big mirror and plenty of hot water. When the windows were open, there was noise from the nearby road but not a lot. While the windows reach the floor, they only open at the top so are completely safe for young children. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and brilliant with the kids.A mistake on my bill was rectified immediately and we were supplied with information about the local area. The breakfast buffet was brilliant. We weren`t charged for the children as they are under 5.The dining room was modern and airy.Table were cleared quickly and we didn`t have to wait for one.As well as pastries, cereals, fruit, juices, selection of breads ,there was also a delicious hot buffet .You could also have take away cups and take a coffee outside.High-chairs were readily available.
The hotel is situated about a mile from Bray itself in a much quieter location than the town.It is within driving distance of many attractions and the beautiful Wicklow mountains. The lobby has a bar,big screen TV and plenty of tables.Parking is free.2 staff members,Jessica and Johnathan were a credit to this hotel and nothing was too much trouble and they chatted to my children, even giving them lollipops. When a hotel welcomes children,it gets a big thumbs up from me.
This will be our hotel of choice for future trips and we will definately be returning soon. Stayed April 2011, traveled with family

- Once again we had a lovely time in the Ramada Hotel in Bray. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is gorgeous, especially the buffet breakfast. Excellent service at a great price.

From the minute we arrived (early for check in which caused no hassle) we were greeted and treated so well. Each member of staff were extremely helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. The kids were even supplied wit DVDs and colouring packs. The food was excellent and the room was large and very comfortable. Overall the best hotel stay in a while made so by friendly staff and welcome for children. Thank you we will return soon Stayed April 2011.

As I was travelling from the UK, I did not arrive at the hotel until midnight. The porter had everything ready for me to check in easily and get to bed quickly. The room was lovely and great value for money. He also let me put my room service request for breakfast on my door after the time allocated. One of the nicest and friendliest hotels I have stayed in in Ireland. I travel over quite a lot with work. Stayed April 2011, traveled on business

Stayed 2 nights on a special offer. Had very spacious family room with 2 double beds and a single. Spotlessly clean and quiet, very comfortable, window definitely not draughty. Excellent service-the fridge, DVD player and single bed were not in the room as advertised when we arrived but the very helpful receptionist sorted it all very rapidly without any fuss. Ideal for Bray and Greystones and surrounding area. Couldn't really fault it and would highly recommend, especially at 129 euros for 2 nights. Stayed April 2011

Stayed overnight on a business trip for an early meeting nearby the next morning. The room was surprisingly large with a full size old fashioned desk & executive style office chair as well as the usual dresser for the TV etc.
I've given the rooms 4/5 as most of the plug sockets including beside the bed are round 3 pin not rectangular 3 pin; luckily I had a European travel adapter in my bag which worked as a converter meaning I could charge my phone on the bedside locker. Stayed March 2011, traveled on business -
Travelled with friends for long weekend.
Excellent value and service, nothing too much trouble for staff.
Ideal to see more than just Dublin. Stayed March 2011, traveled with friends -
Room was excellent (although shower was a little ineffective), very spacious and comfortable.
Only downside was the noise of other doors opening and shutting in the mornings Stayed March 2011
